General Information
Viruses
are small organisms made out of the genetic substance known as DNA
(DNA is short for
deoxyribonucleic acid; its a nucleic acid molecule in the form of a
twisted double strand double helix that is the major component of
chromosomes and carries genetic information).
They
use DNA to duplicate themselves in order to spread. To survive, a
virus must occupy and live within a living cell. From that cell it
will be able to increase in numbers and spread throughout your body
or infect other people
